Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive SLP services across elementary, middle, and high school settings in Elizabeth, NJ. This contract-based opportunity emphasizes collaboration with education professionals to support diverse learners.

Applicants must hold NJ SLP licensure and have school-based experience; candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, develop individualized goals, and participate in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist licensure required.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Ability to work with students from elementary to high school.
• Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Strong collaboration with teachers, staff and families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication issues in a diverse K-12 student population
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and state standards
• Collaborate with educational teams, participate in IEP meetings, and offer insights on student progress
• Consult and communicate with families and staff to implement effective interventions and support strategies
• Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress
