Job summary

Boerne Independent School District is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for its Special Programs Department in Boerne, TX. The role focuses on direct intervention across articulation, language, fluency, and voice, with collaboration to address behavioral and emotional needs impacting communication and learning.

The SLP will design individualized therapy plans, integrate evidence-based strategies, and partner with teachers, families, and staff to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed by the state of Texas as SLP or ASHA/TEA equivalent.
• Fingerprinting background check required (approx. $50).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents, and staff to implement IEP.
• Plan and deliver instructional and therapeutic services for assigned students.
• Maintain records, reports, and communications with families and staff.
• Promote student success through evidence-based strategies and collaboration.
