Job summary

VyTalent Solutions seeks a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a local contract in Hamlin, WV. The role runs through the 2026-2027 school year, with a 35-hour work week and a 41-week contract.

Local, traveler, or remote-friendly candidate types are considered; state licensure in West Virginia is required. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, develop IEPs, and collaborate with educators and families. CFYs welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid West Virginia SLP license.
• School-based experience preferred; CFYs welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs and communication goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication.
• Adapt service delivery on-site or via teletherapy.
• Conduct evaluations and track student progress with compliant documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team and IEP meetings.
