Job summary

EDU Healthcare in Olympia, WA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders and to develop individualized IEPs. You will provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support goals.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and an active WA SLP license (or eligibility).

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active WA SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.
  • Structured school-based setting with built-in school holidays.
  • Collaboration with educators and support staff to impact student success.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required.
