Job summary

EDU Healthcare is hiring an onsite School‑Based Speech-Language Pathologist to support district partners in the Aberdeen, WA area for the upcoming school year. You will provide essential speech and language services in a structured educational setting, helping students succeed.

The role includes evaluating disorders, creating IEPs, direct therapy, and collaborating with teachers and families. Prior CCC-SLP preferred; WA license or eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active licensure in Washington state or eligibility to obtain before start date.
• CFY candidates are encouraged to apply; CCC-SLP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support goals.
• Maintain records and progress reports per policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional development.

Skills

Active WA SLP license

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred

Experience with school-aged children
