Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students in a contract position near Encinitas, CA. The role focuses on evaluating, treating, and supporting communication goals within a collaborative school environment.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide direct therapy, and participate in IEP meetings, working with educators and families to foster student success.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active California SLP license or eligibility.
• Experience in school settings and IEP processes.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
• Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goals and progress reports.
• Consult with teachers, families, and special education teams for classroom integration.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state guidelines.
