Job summary

FlexCare is hiring an experienced School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract in San Lorenzo, California for the 2026–2027 school year. You'll join a collaborative team to support students' communication goals, with dedicated recruiter and transparent pay.

The role is in-person, 37.5 hours per week, primarily evaluations and consultations with minimal direct therapy (~90 minutes per student per year).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current California SLP license required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
• Pediatric experience required.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Experience conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing services.
• Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, families and support staff.
• In-person position across multiple school sites within the district.

Responsibilities

• Primarily evaluations and consultations; very limited direct service (~90 minutes per year per student).
• It itinerant position working with all grade levels across the district.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' communication goals.
• Maintain required documentation and participate in IEP-related activities.
• Work in-person at assigned school sites and coordinate with staff.
