Job summary

You’ll join a collaborative, school-based team, focusing on evaluations and consultations across multiple site locations, with AAC device experience valued.

Looking for a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity in California? FlexCare is hiring an experienced SLP for a full-time contract opportunity in San Lorenzo, California for the 2026–2027 school year. Join a collaborative school environment where you'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve their communication goals while receiving dedicated support from FlexCare throughout your assignment.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Qualifications & Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Pediatric experience required
• School-based experience preferred
• Experience conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language services
• Knowledge of IEP development, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
• Comfortable working across multiple school sites throughout the district
• Must meet all credentialing, background check, fingerprinting, and district onboarding requirements
• This is an in-person position.

Must hold an active SLP-CCC license and MUST HAVE experience working with AAC devices. Will Be primarily providing evaluations and consultations; very limited direct service (~ 90 minutes a year per student). This will be an itinerant position working with all grade levels.
