Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a contract School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Louisiana to support children with communication needs in an educational setting. The role is full-time with start times between 7:30–8:00 AM and end times between 3:30–4:00 PM, extending through the school calendar to May 20, 2027.

You’ll primarily serve students aged 3 to 12, with occasional engagement with some high schoolers. Join a collaborative team, implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and deliver targeted

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP.
• CCC-SLP certification required or active.
• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate within an educational team.

Responsibilities

• Provide standardized and informal speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments.
• Develop and implement IEPs for eligible students.
• Deliver therapy in individual and small group formats.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation per school/state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and related services.
