Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Michigan seeks a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, contract role spanning the academic year from August 18 through June 11 near Clinton Township. You'll serve K-8th grade students, providing therapy and collaborating with educators in a supportive school setting.

Both CCC and CFY candidates are welcome. The position offers a stable schedule, professional development, and the chance to help students reach important communication milestones while working

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain.
• CCC or CFY credentials accepted.
• Experience in a school setting preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for fostering student success and adapting to varying caseload needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders within a K-8th grade caseload.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
• Track student progress and document interventions in accordance with school policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student support team meetings, and staff development opportunities.
• Consult with teachers and parents to facilitate carryover of therapy techniques in the classroom and at home.
