Job summary

Bellefaire JCB's Monarch School for students aged 5 through 21 with autism seeks a full‑time Speech Language Pathologist to join an interdisciplinary team providing communication, academic, sensory, behavioral, and therapeutic support. You will deliver direct speech therapy in one‑on‑one and small group settings and help develop AAC systems.

Collaborations with Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School support professional growth; with a small caseload of about 12 students, you will

Qualifications

• Minimum Master’s Degree.
• Valid Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license required.
• Combination of education, training and/or experience in working with children with autism.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy to students in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Administer diagnostic assessments and create detailed reports of findings.
• Write, implement and manage IEP/SP goals and objectives.
• Develop AAC systems and train staff and families.
• Develop, review and/or implement progress reports and clinical records.
• Collect and analyze student data.
• Facilitate meetings related to Speech with staff, parents and school districts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to support positive outcomes.
• Participate in professional growth activities.
