Job summary

Bellefaire JCB's Monarch School for students aged 5 through 21 with autism seeks a full‑time Speech Language Pathologist to join an interdisciplinary team providing communication, academic, sensory, behavioral, and therapeutic support. You will deliver direct speech therapy in one‑on‑one and small group settings and help develop AAC systems.

• Write, implement and manage IEP/SP goals and objectives.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to support positive outcomes.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a full‑time Speech Language Pathologist to work at Monarch School for students ages 5 through 21 with autism. The Speech Language Pathologist will work within an interdisciplinary team that provides communication, academic, sensory, behavioral, and therapeutic support for children or adolescents with autism. Through our collaboration with Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, we offer many opportunities for professional growth. Our small caseload sizes (approximately 12 students), interdisciplinary team approach, and access to the latest technology provide a unique work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Provide direct speech therapy to students in one‑on‑one and small group settings
• Administer diagnostic assessments (formal and informal evaluations) and create detailed reports of findings
• Write, implement and manage IEP/SP goals and objectives
• Develop Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) systems and train staff and families
• Develop, review and/or implement progress reports, daily communication, and other clinical records and documentation
• Collect and analyze student data
• Facilitate meetings related to Speech with staff, parents and school districts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to support positive outcomes within the school and home environments
• Participate in professional growth activities
• Implement Safety‑Care procedures
