Job summary

Bellefaire JCB seeks a full-time Intervention Specialist for Monarch School of Autism. You will join an interdisciplinary team and support students ages 3–21 with autism, delivering individualized instruction within a visual language immersion model and using ABA-based strategies.

Small class sizes, access to technology, and mentoring are offered, with a strong focus on safety, collaboration, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license; valid Non-Tax Teaching Certificate; current Ohio DOE license in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEPs and develop lesson plans for small groups or individual instruction.
• Lead IEP meetings involving school district, parents and invited agencies.
• Supervise students and maintain safety and daily oversight.
• Coordinate with clinical and residential teams to align education and treatment goals.
• Lead weekly team meetings focusing on students, curriculum, and behavior management.
• Prepare progress reports and monitor data for IEP progress.
