Career Links is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based role. You will provide therapy services to students with communication challenges and collaborate with a dedicated special education team to support academic and social success.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required.
• Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Minnesota PELSB licensure required.
• State Teaching Credential or ability to obtain.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Experience in public school settings or with IEPs preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing practices and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state standards.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs for compliance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student goals.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC.
• Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions for diverse student populations.
• Provide training or guidance to classroom staff to generalize communication strategies.
