Job summary

Ellenco Estágios e Treinamentos is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in a K-8 school setting, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to support students' academic and social development.

You will manage a caseload of 40-50 students, collaborate with teachers and families, develop IEP goals, document progress, and participate in meetings, delivering therapy individually and in groups.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP certification and SC Teacher Certification.
• Minimum of one year of prior school-based SLP experience.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills in speech and language pathology.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Provide direct speech therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations.
• Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on student response and progress.
