Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide full-time on-site services in a school setting, serving a diverse PreK–12 caseload focusing on early childhood development.

You will perform evaluations, develop IEPs, deliver direct and consultative therapy, collaborate with educators and families, and document progress in accordance with district and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan SLP licensure and ASHA CCCs required.
• Experience supporting speech and language development in school-aged children, esp. early childhood.
• CF candidates must secure supervising SLP before starting.
• Full-time on-site; remote/virtual options not considered.
• Maintain Michigan license credentials as needed.
• Collaborative, flexible and dedicated to student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide direct and consultative speech therapy to students, primarily in early childhood grades.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress.
• Document sessions and progress according to school and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
