Job summary

RCM Health Care Services is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person therapy in Hamtramck, MI. The role includes evaluations, caseload management, IEP development, and collaboration with teachers and families in a K-12 setting.

The 13-week contract runs through the 2026-2027 academic year with 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, onsite in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in SLP is required.
• 60 semester hours of related coursework are required.
• State of Michigan SLP certification and SB endorsement or CCC are required.
• CFs encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 300 supervised practicum clock hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students in a school setting.
• Conduct evaluations and determine eligibility per MARSE.
• Develop and manage IEPs for students.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate records and timely reports.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Support language acquisition strategies and sound awareness with staff.
• Adhere to district policies and regulatory requirements.
