Job summary

RXinsider LTD. seeks a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to support students’ communication and language development within a collaborative school environment in Providence, RI.

The role involves conducting assessments, creating and implementing therapy plans, and participating in IEP meetings. The position offers guaranteed hours, weekly direct deposit, health/vision/dental benefits, a 401k plan with matching, and CEU reimbursements. Experience in schools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA CCC-SLP.
• Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.
• Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics.
