Job summary

The Monarch School and Institute seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support children with speech and language disorders in a therapeutic education environment. Under supervision, you will assist SLPs with screenings, assessments, and treatment plans while helping document progress and maintain records.

Responsibilities include data collection, program support, and coordination with the Integrated Learning Practice Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Texas State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Monarch model of teaching with focus on executive functioning and relational skills.
• Assist SLPs in screenings/assessments of language, voice, fluency, articulation, or hearing.
• Implement treatment plans or protocols as directed by SLPs.
• Collect and document clients’ progress and program data.
• Maintain clinical records and prepare materials.
• Support and coordinate with Program Directors and teams regarding student services.
• Demonstrate cooperative team skills and report progress at designated intervals.
