Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with unique needs in a center day school in Inverness, FL. This contract role requires in-person, collaborative work with educators and therapists, focusing on students from kindergarten through age 22.

Ideal candidates hold CCC-SLP or CFY, with experience addressing moderate behavioral challenges and implementing AAC strategies to help students express themselves and participate fully in classroom activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure or certification (SLP-CCC or eligible SLP-CFY).
• Experience supporting students with moderate behavior needs.
• Expertise in implementing AAC systems and addressing low verbal or nonverbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a moderate behavior caseload within a school of approximately 100 students.
• Evaluate, develop, and implement effective, individualized therapy plans.
• Integrate AAC devices and strategies into daily communication routines.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists for comprehensive student support.
• Document progress, maintain records, and contribute to IEP meetings.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for student growth.
