Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Union, Maine, for the 2026–2027 school year in a full-time, school-based role. You’ll earn $50–$60 per hour with guaranteed pay and eligibility for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

CCC-SLPs or CF-SLPs welcome; you’ll collaborate with clinicians and district teams to support students across grade levels and communication needs. Boothby offers mentoring, strong support, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY).
• Active Maine SLP License or eligibility.
• School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions.
• Support students with articulation and phonological disorders.
• Receptive and expressive language disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation.
• Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success.
