Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary and high school students in Stafford, VA for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and delivering speech-language therapy to meet IEP goals within a collaborative team environment.

This position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Virginia SLP licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP, with a minimum of five years’ experience. Secondary school experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Virginia SLP license.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an SLP.
• Experience in secondary school settings or with adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy services.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams on IEPs.
• Support students in developing functional communication and language skills to promote academic success.
