Job summary

RCM Health Care Services is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13‑week assignment in Hamtramck, MI. The role is onsite, supports K‑12 students, and involves evaluations, IEPs, collaboration with school staff, and family outreach.

The SLP will provide therapy services, manage caseloads, and adhere to MARSE regulations while contributing to student academic success and communication development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Minimum of 60 semester hours in communication development, evaluation, and treatment techniques.
• State of Michigan certification as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
• SB endorsement and/or CCC required; CFs encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in school settings.
• Conduct evaluations and determine eligibility under MARSE.
• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs for students.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in a timely manner.
• Assist with language acquisition strategies and staff training.
