Job summary

RCM HealthCare Travel is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist in Monroe, Michigan. The role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations, writing reports, and delivering direct therapy aligned with IEP goals.

The position is 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, 13-week duration, onsite in a school setting, with compensation $61-66/hour. Requires MI SLP license and master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Current MI SLP License.
• Experience in school-based speech-language pathology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students including articulation, language, fluency, voice and social communication.
• Prepare clear, legally compliant evaluation reports with findings and eligibility recommendations.
• Develop and monitor IEP-aligned treatment plans and service delivery models.
• Provide direct SLP services in individual and group settings aligned to IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and families on communication development strategies.
