Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is seeking a School-Based Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) in Torrance, CA. This part-time, afternoon position supports students with ABA strategies under supervision and works on school campuses during weekday hours.

You will receive paid onboarding, supervision, and opportunities for growth into higher clinical roles, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for RBT-certified staff and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18
• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (lifting up to 50lbs)
• Reliable transportation to assigned school sites
• Valid driver's license and dependable attendance
• No prior ABA experience required - training provided

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support to students
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and treatment plans
• Support skill development related to communication, behavior, and learning readiness
• Collect accurate behavioral data and session documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors
• Support students during transitions, routines, and challenging moments
• Maintain professionalism within school environments
