Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC in Torrance, CA is seeking a School-Based Behavior Technician to support students with ABA strategies under BCBA supervision. This full-time role follows a school-day schedule, with opportunities for after-school hours, and hourly pay ranging from $21.00 to $26.00.

You will work closely with teachers, support staff, and clinicians to promote skill development and meaningful participation, with paid onboarding, training, and growth pathways within CAS.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50lbs.
• Reliable transportation to assigned school sites and valid driver's license.
• No prior ABA experience required — training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support to students.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and treatment plans.
• Support skill development related to communication, behavior, and learning readiness.
• Collect accurate behavioral data and session documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors.
• Support students during transitions, routines, and challenging moments.
• Maintain professionalism within school environments.
