Job summary

Forte Behavioral Health LLC is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to support students with developmental disabilities in a West Los Angeles school setting. Obtain and maintain RBT certification and work with a BCBA to implement IEP-based goals.

The role requires reliability, strong English skills, and a passion for helping children. Typical hours are Mon-Fri during daytime schedules aligned with LAUSD calendars.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• RBT certification is required and must be active.
• Experience with children, especially in educational or related settings.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIPs developed by BCBA in school settings.
• Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges.
• Use positive behavior supports and reinforcement strategies.
• Collect data on behavior and progress for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students.
• Communicate progress and concerns with the BCBA/Behavior Specialist.
• Attend team and student support meetings as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
