Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, school-based role in Woolwich Township, New Jersey. This position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to positively impact a child’s educational journey within a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification is required.
• Previous experience working in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support in the classroom and during school activities.
• Assist students with academic tasks and the development of social skills.
• Direct 1:1 support: Implement BIPs and individualized goals across educational settings (General Ed, ICR, Pull-Out Resource, S.T.E.P.).
• Data collection: Accurately collect real-time behavioral data (frequency, duration, interval, ABC data) as directed by the BCBA.
• Toileting and personal care: Assist students with hygiene, toileting protocols, and independence training per IEPs.
• Skill acquisition and prompting: Use least-to-most prompting to support academics, communication, and peer interactions.
• De-escalation and safety: Apply approved strategies to maintain a safe learning environment.
