Qualifications

• Active RBT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support in the classroom and during school activities.
• Assist students with academic tasks and the development of social skills.
• Direct 1:1 support: Implement BIPs and individualized goals across educational settings (General Ed, ICR, Pull-Out Resource, S.T.E.P.).
• Data collection: Accurately collect real-time behavioral data (frequency, duration, interval, ABC data) as directed by the BCBA.
• Toileting and personal care: Assist students with hygiene, toileting protocols, and independence training per IEPs.
• Skill acquisition and prompting: Use least-to-most prompting to support academics, communication, and peer interactions.
• De-escalation and safety: Apply approved strategies to maintain a safe learning environment.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with autism and other developmental disabilities

• Skill Acquisition & Prompting: Utilize least-to-most prompting strategies to support academic work, functional communication, and peer interactions during SMART Lunch, electives, physical education, and other school activities
• De-escalation & Safety: Implement approved behavioral intervention strategies to maintain a safe learning environment for the student and others
