Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our school-based teams for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, K-12 setting with 1:1, 2:1, and classroom support across general and special education classrooms.

You will implement BIPs and behavior support plans, provide behavioral interventions, collect data, and collaborate with teachers and paraprofessionals. Immediate start through the 2026-27 school year.

Qualifications

Active RBT certification required.
Bachelor's degree (field to be confirmed).
Previous school-based experience preferred.
Experience in behavioral or special education.
Ability to meet state requirements for school employment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow school, district, and student support procedures.
Authorized to work in the United States; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and behavior support plans with fidelity.
Provide 1:1, 2:1, and classroom support throughout the school day.
Provide behavioral intervention and reinforce replacement behaviors.
Assist with transitions and settling into classroom activities and related services.
Provide general academic support and help with assignments.
Collect, track, and maintain accurate behavioral data.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school team; maintain confidentiality.
