Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians to support students with autism spectrum disorder in school settings. Under supervision of a BCBA, you will implement behavior support plans, collect data on student behavior, and assist with educational goals.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required (BACB) or in process of taking BACB RBT exam.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in psychology/education or related field preferred.
• Experience with children/adolescents with ASD or other developmental disabilities in school or clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavior intervention services to students.
• Implement ABA-based behavior support plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collect data on student behavior and progress toward educational goals.
• Support skill acquisition and positive behavior strategies.
• Maintain documentation and collaborate with the team.
• Participate in team meetings and quality assurance processes.
• Adhere to school policies and program guidelines.

Position Summary:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting, you will provide direct behavior intervention services to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professional, you will implement behavior support plans, collect data on student behavior and support the educational goals of students with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing behavior support to students
• Delivering direct instruction using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principals
• Data collection and progress monitoring
• Skill acquisition support
• Implementing behavior plans and positive support plans
• Collaboration with all team members
• Documentation

Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) ( Required)
• A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field, is preferred
• Experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities in a school or clinical setting
