Job summary

Stonington School District is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide intensive behavior support services to students district-wide. The RBT will collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement behavior support plans and meet RBT certification requirements.

This is not an instructional position; the RBT may provide limited instructional support as needed. Starting rate is $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and formal ABA training required.
• Completion of the RBT training and examination.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with students needing behavior support.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive behavior support per student plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement plans.
• Follow district crisis intervention and safety policies.
