Job summary

Effingham County Board of Education seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct student support in one-on-one and small‑group settings at Ebenezer Elementary. The RBT follows behavior support plans, collects data, and collaborates with staff to implement interventions.

The position requires earning or possession of RBT licensure, a minimum Associate's degree, and the ability to travel between schools.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Behavior Technician or eligible for the license pending the competency assessment.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and students.
• Willingness and ability to travel between schools.
• Experience in relevant setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students in one-on-one or group settings.
• Follow behavior support plans designed for students.
• Collect, record, summarize, and display data.
• Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the provision of interventions.
• Participate in required district trainings and maintain confidentiality under FERPA.
