Job summary

Rising Ground, Inc. seeks a qualified RAPP School Coordinator to work in a DOE middle or high school in Queens on a full-time basis. You will provide direct counseling to students and contribute to education on healthy relationships and trauma-informed practices.

The role requires an MSW or MHC with LMSW within 6 months, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to anti-oppressive practice. Immediate start with standard school-year hours.

Qualifications

• MSW or MHC required; if MSW, LMSW within 6 months of hire.
• Strong and diverse clinical skills.
• Knowledge of intimate partner violence, teen relationship abuse, trauma.
• Commitment to healing-centered, anti-oppressive practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and crisis counseling.
• Facilitate classroom workshops.
• Develop and deliver trainings for staff, parents and community.
• Work with RAPP summer program and supervise MSW interns where applicable.
• Complete related paperwork in a timely manner.
