Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Dallas, TX is seeking a school-based Physical Therapist Assistant to support students under a licensed Physical Therapist. You will implement IEP-driven therapy, help with mobility and independence, and document progress for accurate records.

Responsibilities include collaboration with educators, assisting with adaptive equipment, and participating in ARD meetings to support student success. Flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program required.
• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy services defined in student IEPs.
• Assist with activities to improve functional mobility and participation in school.
• Document progress and maintain service records.
• Collaborate with PTs, educators and special education teams.
• Provide assistive equipment and positioning guidance.
• Participate in ARD meetings and team discussions.
• Support a positive, student-centered educational environment.
