Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support students in a school setting. This on-site, full-time contract runs through May 20, 2027, offering collaboration with educators and therapists to implement therapy programs and monitor student progress.

The role requires IL PTA licensure; prior school-based experience is preferred. You will work with students across all grades, maintaining documentation and participating in IEP meetings while ensuring quality,

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Illinois PTA license.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt to early childhood through high school.
• Strong communication with students, teachers and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services under supervision of licensed PT.
• Assist mobility, motor skills, strength and independence.
• Monitor and document student progress for supervising therapists.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
