Stellar Therapy Services is looking for a dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Springfield, TN. This part-time position involves assisting the Physical Therapist in implementing therapy plans and directly supporting students' mobility and independence in schools.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active PTA license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for helping children achieve their functional and educational goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT in delivering therapy services and exercises to students.
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Collect and document student progress under PT supervision.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the therapy team to reinforce therapy goals.
• Prepare therapy materials and ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain compliance with all regulations under the direction of the PT.
