Birch Agency in Dearborn, MI is seeking a School-Based Physical Therapist to provide services in a school district on a PRN, in-person basis for the 2026-2027 year. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborate with educators and families, and support student participation in education.

Flexible scheduling and travel stipends may be available. Qualifications include a Doctorate or Master’s in Physical Therapy, active Michigan license, and

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with students, families, and school teams.
• Ability to collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary staff.
• Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and IEP processes.

Responsabilités

• Assess studentsoot gross motor skills, mobility, strength, endurance, balance and functional performance.
• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and prepare reports.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Provide direct and consultative PT services within the school setting.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support student access to activities.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications as appropriate.
• Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation.
