Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is assisting Allegan, MI area schools by placing a contract school-based Physical Therapist to support preK-12 students. The selected therapist will work a manageable schedule of about 30–32 hours per week across four days, delivering direct and consultative PT services in collaboration with school teams.

Active MI PT license and experience with pediatric or school-based populations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Physical Therapist license required.
• Experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students across ages and abilities.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans with educational teams.
• Evaluate student progress and document interventions and outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise and recommendations as needed.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, aides, and families to ensure carryover and program integrity.
• Maintain compliance with Michigan state and federal special education guidelines.
