Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a school-based role in Tacoma, Washington. This 42-week assignment runs 35 hours per week with a 12-hour shift, starting ASAP.

The PT will assess student needs, develop IEP-based goals, and provide direct and consultative services to improve mobility and participation while coordinating with teachers and families. Licensure in WA and ESA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Physical Therapist license and ESA certificate required.
• Local school setting experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Full-time to part-time transition for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Assess student movement and PT needs to inform IEPs.
• Develop and manage individualized PT goals.
• Provide direct and consultative PT services to improve participation.
• Transition care as schedule changes from full-time to part-time.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and OT teams.
• Maintain compliant documentation and progress reports.
