Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Physical Therapist (PT) in Yelm, Washington for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on delivering direct pediatric PT services in a K-12 school setting, with itinerant responsibilities and a collaborative educational environment.

Licensed PTs with WA license and ESA certification are encouraged to apply. New graduates are welcome; in-person attendance is required at WA campuses, with mentorship and ongoing professional development offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Physical Therapist License required.
• ESA certification (or willingness to obtain)
• School-based PT experience preferred, new graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students with IEPs.
• Complete physical therapy evaluations and document findings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning.
• Ensure compliance with state and district guidelines for therapy services.
