Job summary

Thrive Therapies Group is seeking Physical Therapists to join our Washington team and support K-12 students in school settings. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with comprehensive clinical support and AI-assisted documentation tools.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized IEP goals, deliver direct PT services, and collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to improve mobility, independence, and access to the school environment.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a DPT or MPT from an accredited program.
  • Pass NPTE and hold or be eligible for licensure in Washington.
  • Experience with IDEA/IEP processes and school-based services preferred.
  • Strong collaboration with teachers and families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct school-based PT evaluations and re-evaluations.
  • Develop individualized functional IEP goals.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services.
  • Support gross motor development, mobility, gait, balance, and coordination.
  • Evaluate and recommend adaptive equipment and positioning supports.
  • Consult with teachers and staff on physical access, mobility, safe transfer strategies.
  • Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary school teams.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and progress notes.

What You’ll Bring
  • DPT or MPT from an accredited physical therapy program
  • NPTE board exam passage
  • Active Washington PT license, or documented initiation of licensure transfer
  • Knowledge of IDEA, the IEP process, and the educational model of physical therapy
  • School-based experience, pediatric PT training, and experience with adaptive equipment are preferred.
