Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services seeks a School-based Physical Therapist (PT) to support students in a Las Vegas/Henderson, NV on-site school setting. The role focuses on mobility and functional goals within the IDEA framework, collaborating with educational teams to implement therapy plans and ensure student access to the general education curriculum.

The position requires NV licensure, a valid NV driver's license, and pediatric/school experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist – State of NV
• NV Driver's License
• Pediatric/school experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility
• Assess gross motor skills and therapeutic equipment needs of students
• Develop, implement, monitor, and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of student as appropriate
• Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports
• Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per professional standards
• Train Paraprofessionals/PTAs on various student plans
• Regular and predictable attendance
