Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a school-based role in Westland, MI. This onsite position supports students’ mobility and participation in education, collaborating with school teams to implement therapy goals.

The role is 37.5 hours per week with a 12-week contract, offering a competitive hourly rate and full scope of pediatric-related therapy within a school setting. Experience with IDEA services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist – State of Michigan.
• Michigan Driver’s License.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility.
• Assess gross motor skills and therapeutic equipment needs of students.
• Develop, implement, monitor and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of student as appropriate.
• Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports.
• Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per professional standards.
• Train Paraprofessionals on various student plans.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
