Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to support students in a school-based setting near Sharon, MA. You will evaluate needs, set goals, and provide direct PT services aligned with IEPs while collaborating with educators and families.

The contract offers 15 hours per week, ongoing through January 2027, with competitive compensation and benefits. Experience in schools or healthcare environments is valued, with PTA candidates considered if credentialed for MA schools.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts (MA).
• Experience delivering physical therapy in school or healthcare settings preferred.
• PTA applicants considered if credentialed appropriately for MA schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluations, develop goals, and deliver direct PT interventions to students.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor student progress and adapt strategies.
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
• Support inclusion efforts, assist with adaptive equipment and classroom modifications as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings as an allied health team member.
• Offer guidance and support to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) as appropriate.
