Job summary

A & R Behavioral Health is looking for experienced therapy professionals to provide essential services to Cecil County Public Schools students, ranging in age from birth to 21.

Positions include Speech/Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses, and more. Candidates must possess active Maryland licenses and be prepared to comply with all CCPS requirements.

This role involves working under contract, performing assessments, developing IEPs, and providing therapy in various educational settings.

Qualifications

• Active license from the Maryland State Department of Mental Health and Hygiene.
• Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license for nursing positions.
• Fingerprinting and criminal history background check are mandatory for all professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and assessment of students.
• Develop and implement IEPs and/or IFSPs as needed.
• Provide therapy or consultation in a school setting.
• Document services provided and completion of required paperwork.

Skills

Active license in relevant field

NPI number

CPR/AED certification

CNA certification (if applicable)

Fluency in sign language (if applicable)

Education

Relevant degree (OT, PT, SLP)

High School Diploma or equivalent (Sign Language)
