Rochester Regional Health in Shortsville, NY is seeking a Full-Time mental health therapist to provide diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and therapy within school settings.

You will work as part of a clinical team supervised by a staff psychiatrist, deliver individual, group, and family therapies, and may provide off-site and home visits. Licensed professionals with 2 years of relevant experience are preferred; licensure within 1 year of hire.

• Official transcript from accredited school or letter emailed directly from the school's registrar's office confirming program completion will be accepted upon graduation.
• Primary source education verification required within 90 days of start date.
• LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT license or permit required within 1 year of hire.

• Provides initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical intervention to a designated caseload.
• Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
• Participates functionally as a member of an interdisciplinary team in coordination and delivery of patient care.
• Communicates with relevant internal and external care providers to complete ongoing assessment and to coordinate care.
• Participates in and incorporates professional supervision and ongoing education toward quality care.
• Completes all required documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner.
• Maintains a full caseload, meeting productivity requirements and seeks to keep the incidence of failed appointments to a minimum.
• Utilizes efficient computer skills for electronic documentation.
• Must obtain licensure or permit in a timely manner.
• Off-site and in-home delivery of services to clients and families.

Description STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: Red Jacket Schools- 1506 State Rte 21, Shortsville, NY 14548DEPARTMENT: School Therapy SCHEDULE: 8a-4p, 7:30a-3:30p (hours vary based upon school operating hours)

Position Summary

The primary therapist provides mental health diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and mental health therapies for persons with mental illness. Treatment is provided in the context of a clinical team, supervised by the staff psychiatrist. Provide superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical intervention to a designated caseload.
• Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Drive - Clinical - Roles in this category require frequent driving combined with mobile clinical care across settings such as emergency response, mobile clinics, and home health environments. Staff must repeatedly enter and exit vehicles, occasionally lift and carry equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. or more, and perform care within patients' homes or other confined, unpredictable, or uncontrolled environments. These positions demand strong fine and gross motor control, firm grasping, and heightened visual and auditory awareness to ensure safe and effective care delivery. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial due to rapid decision-making, direct exposure to critical or sensitive situations, and independently managing patient care in the field or home setting. Environmental exposures may include traffic hazards, infectious agents, extreme temperatures, variable home conditions, and hazardous materials. Valid licensure, physical readiness, and flexibility for extended or on‑call schedules are typically required.

PAY RANGE: $53,310.00 - $67,700.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
