Job summary

Harbor is seeking a Program Manager for the Prevention Education department to deliver prevention services in a school-based setting for children aged 5–13 at risk for substance use.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with responsibilities including staff supervision, program development, and coordination with schools and families. Strong organizational and reporting skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work or related mental health field is required.
• Experience supervising staff is required.
• Certified Prevention Specialist or in process to be certified in Ohio is required.

Responsibilities

• Marketing and securing Lucas County schools to provide prevention services.
• Provide personnel management for clinical staff including orientation, supervision, and evaluations.
• Deliver Prevention Education in classrooms, groups, and activities in Lucas County.
• Provide referrals and work with Case Manager for appropriate referrals.
• Document occurrences through Harbor’s web-based system and assist with program development and budgets.
