Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract School Physical Therapist for a local contract job in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. This role provides 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift within a school setting to support students’ mobility and independence.

You will collaborate with teachers and related service professionals, evaluate student needs, implement therapy interventions, and document progress to meet district requirements. PA licensure is required and pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or graduate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist License.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred; strong communication and collaboration skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to support students’ mobility, functional skills, participation, and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and related service professionals to address students’ individual needs and support positive outcomes.
• Evaluate student needs, implement appropriate therapy interventions, and monitor progress in accordance with established goals and school requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the educational team regarding student progress and recommendations.
