Job summary

Qualifications

• DPT or equivalent degree required.
• Valid New York State Physical Therapy License.
• Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.
• Experience in a school setting with students with disabilities; strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ physical, gross motor, mobility, and functional needs and provide individualized therapy.
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services through classroom-based, individual, and group activities; monitor progress.
• Develop progress reports, treatment plans, session documentation, and other required records.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into the school environment and support inclusion.
